I have two trucks that take Diesel and Unleaded fuel separately. What is the best fuel to stock up on? Which fuel will last the longest without any additives?

Diesel by far has the longest shelf life, and is the less volatile of all fuels. As you can tell by my user name, I'm a big fan of Diesel!

What are the comparative shelflifes of the two?

Especially with a heavy load behind them.

I've been thinking of buy a diesel for a long time and converting it to veg. oil, or making my own bio diesel. As I understand the price of coverting to veg or bio, isn't that much at all.

I'm waiting for the government to start taxing those who run biodiesel. There was a case a while back about this, and from what I remember the government fined him pretty badly.
