Ok, so after several unexpected kinks, we've finally got the board back up and running. Everything should be ok from a performance standpoint, though there are still some administrative things to finalize.

With that said, there are a few upgrades that you should be aware of:

First - You can now read to first 200 characters of a post by hovering your cursor over the post title.

Second - You can do the same for the most recent post in each forum by hovering your cursor over the last post button (next to the user's name on the right side of the screen).

Third - In order to protect the integrity of this forum, and to keep the focus on the forum's dedicated purpose (emergency and disaster preparation), I have modified the "Everything Else" category and subforums so that a user can only post in those forums once they become a Junior Forum Member (over 250 posts).

Fourth - In the statistics block towards the botom of the page, you can now see how many (and which) members have logged in during the past 24 hours.

While not implemented just yet, I do hope to run a few more upgrades in the near future. One of those would allow Junior Forum Members the ability to create and publish blogs as part of their public profile on this site.
