Here's my aresenal.

AR 15 20"
Ruger M77 Hawkeye in 223
Winchester model 1906 22LR
Mossberg bolt action shotgun.
Ruger P94DAO 9MM
Ruger SP101 357 mag

To those who are anti gun:
Guns to not create problems, dangerous situations, or kill people. Bad gun owners do. A gun is a tool of self defense or survival. Today a lot of people do not respect human life, and will still kill you after they rob you, even if you comply with their demands fully. I have a concealed carry permit and carry daily. I am not a threat to anyone who is not trying to harm me or my family. In my opinion, survival is a mindset that is used every day. It isn't just about heading into the wilderness when something bad happens in society. It is about keeping my family and myself safe and healthy no matter what happens or where we are.

This quickly becoming a anti/pro gun debate.
I personally do not own a gun. I do plan on buying in the future.
My future list will include:
-.308 hunting rifle
-12 gauge shot gun for hunting
-22LR
-Handgun for personal protection (not sure of the ammo or type yet)

My view on guns in general is complicated, but I will try to put it simply. I consider guns very useful tools that can be used in a very inapropriate manor.
Safty issues: Gun owners that do not teach every member of the family/person in the home how to properly use it, and the consiquences of using them, is a recipe for disaster. Guns should remain locked up if children, or people that do not understand the many dangers of firearms, are in the home.
Firearms ins the hands of criminals: I would love it if getting ride of all guns would get ride of criminals, but it won't. The breeding of criminals is a social problem, not a problem with an important tool. The anti-gun lobists need to focus on finding solutions to the social problems that breeds criminals than trying to remove one of the many tools (that are useful to humanity as a whole) that criminals use to inflict harm and terror on others. If they don't have a gun, than they'll use a knife. Just look at our prisons, people die in there not from gun shots, but from shives, or any other weapon that can be found, including a simple sheet to strangle someone.
Stop what is causing the criminals to become criminals and you stop the need to control guns. And those that are just crazy, I say put them down. It may seem cruel, but keeping a person alive that can never know the true joys in life seems far more cruel to me. So in short, reabilitate if at all possible, put them down if not.
I guess I took it from gun control to social reform. But what else is a rant for lol.
Happy New year everyone!
