This is not my bugout bag, just the equipment I have on me or in my general vicinity any given day. I know that with this load out, I can pretty much be prepared for a lot of different situations. I can also carry all of it in my backpack and not be too burdened.

This could be the start of a nice thread. We might just get some ideas based on what others tend to carry. As for me here goes:

I do not carry much on myself on a regular basis. I am a lawyer so during the week I can't really carry too much on me. I do have ToolLogic card that I carry in my wallet. The card contains: a serrated Blade, magneium firestarter, loud whistle, tweezer, toothpick, lanyard hole, and red LED flashlight. http://www.toollogic.com/svc.htm

On the weekends, I usually have my Benchmade Mini Griptilian folder on me.
