The title says it all. What sort of prepping gear or other related items remain on your wish list of things to eventually obtain and add to your preps?

I agree with Uncle Joe. I also would like a solar array that I could use to at least partially take my house off the grid. I have always thought I could save a fortune by running on solar, and supplementing with the grid or my generator when the weather doesn't cooperate by giving enough sun light to keep the batteries charged.

A real wishful thinking item that I would like would be an Armored Personnel Carrier for a bug out vehicle. These are highly secure. Small arms fire just bounces off, and there is plenty of room to haul food, water and equipment. Let some thugs try to stop me and take my preps when I am in one of these.

Aside from a nice cabin with some land to go bug out to, I'd like to get my hands on a good supply of cooking equipment. As I really have no means of cooking if the gas line to my house is shut off or damaged. Sure I can start a fire outside, but I don't really have a nice cast iron grill set up to use. I came across this and thought it would cover my needs nicely. Of course this isn't exactly a bug out item due to its weight, but I think that more and more I tend to be preparing to hunker down and bug in.

Those are some nice options for outdoors cooking. Truthfully, I never really thought much about issues with cooking if I were to bug in, but the new place I'm in has an electric stove so if my power goes out I've got no stove, toaster over, microwave, etc. Might be worth it to get some set up like you've shown JIC.

I've been eyeing the Katadyn Pocket Water Microfilter for purifying water.

I've heard nothing but rave reviews about it. It has a price tag of about $206  ...which is why I haven't bought it....yet...

More long term food storage
Berkey water filter
Chevrolet M1009 CUCV
Excalibur Food Dehydrator
All American Pressure Canner
A bug out location
More ammunition
More first aid/medical supplies
A better living arrangement so I can have a garden
More hand tools
A grain mill
Many, many more odds & ends

Recently, I've also been looking into the THRIVE brand food plans at ShelfReliance.com. They have a monthly budget auto-ship program that really seems to be economical if you're trying to build a large cache of stored foods.
