Howdy - a friend suggested a book to me about survival..as an independant female, I am interested in learning what I need to do in an emergency state. Actually it was suggested that I purchase a weapon for self protection. I also have several female friends interested in self protection as well - two of them having their homes broken into, one of them walking in on the people who were in the process... In essence, I am on a search for information and am open to listening, evaluating the information provided, no matter how much or how little.. thank you for your insights. Sincerely, Peppy

Welcome Peppy! Please feel fre to ask questions and make your own comments as well. That is how we all learn.

I agree that you should have a weapon for personal protection. I do suggest that you get some training with it such as the NRA basic pistol course. If you give me your general location, I may be able to help you find an instructor that could help you with this.
