I ran across the Derma Safe Knife, which is a tiny folding knife.
The guy at the knife store gave me one of them.

This little knife seems quite useful and very sharp. I think I'm going to replace the razorblade in my little Altoids box kit with this one.

That made me think, what little gems are out there?

Tiny Hacksaw!

The same company that makes the Derma Safe also makes a tiny hacksaw blade version! (image is clickable)

I think this may be the same one that's in cmlesq's mini kit.

I have to say, I haven't laid my hands on one yet, though, it looks incredbly handy. A hacksaw blade is so handy to have, even in your everyday knife.

I've often wished I could take one of the blades out of my new Leatherman and substitute a hacksaw blade.

I love the Gerber Mini Paraframe. It has a 2.25 in. plain edged (or serrated) blade of stainless steel. Handle of surgical steel with frame lock. Includes a stainless steelclip that is designed to function as a money clip as well. The kife is less than 3 in. when closed. Can be found for usually around $10 in stores or online.

The derma safe was standard issue in our SV-2 (Naval Aviation Survival Vest) , except ours were black.

I still have a couple of them floating around. My favorite tiny knife is the Gerber mini ultra lite.

I have the Derma Safe Knife (though I really consider it a razor blade with a handle). For my small knife that I carry on my keychain, I have the Leatherman Squirt PS4 - a really neat but compact multi-tool.

I really found my Buck 425 MiniBuck Folding knife useful and the mover who walked off with it did too.

It had a 1 7/8-inch blade and a grippy, skeletonized, black plastic handle.

It was just the right size to be useful without being a pain to carry.

I keep these two knifes in my wallet, the Swiss card has scissors, pen, tweezers, screw driver, a small knife, and a flash light. The other knife has a tooth pick tweezers can opener an a 2 in. blade. I like Swiss Knifes for there compact size and they are very light weight but unfortunately they are not as durable.
