What about sleeping bags? I found some that were worth the investment. Living in a drafty house and keeping warm is often a big feat. And we found that some zero degree sleeping bags are not as warm and 32 degree sleeping bags. The Coleman outlet has some amazing extra long sleeping bags that I want.. maybe Santa will hear me.

I used to do a lot of hiking and camping in the mountains and a good sleeping bag is definitely worth the investment.

Sleeping bags are a great investment. I have 2 of them, and I use them for camping out, or when I am visiting someone who is short of a guest bed or couch, they provide sleeping material anywhere.
Great for under the stars in places that are not extremely cold.

The brand I have is Coleman, I have had them for over 5 years and they have been holding up just fine, I don't use them a whole lot, but a few times a year at least.

A good bag will actuallly have 2 temp ratings, it's absolute low temp and it's comfort temp. Most places when selling bags only show the absolute temp rating which is the lower temp. the comfort rating is usually between 10 and 15 degrees higher than absolute.

Why do think a sleeping bag is a stupid idea? I'm looking for sleeping bag or bivy for my survival bag.
