we may have prepared our home emergency kits, including essentials, like food,water.. but other usually some forgotten things wouldn't be included.
such things are like a pair of shoes for each member of the family, spare pair of contacts or eye glasses for the members of the family who uses them, any special medications that one or more of the members of the family would be needing regularly and include a dosage enough for 3 days at least, maybe small emergency cash amount would be so helpful in scary situations too.

Yes it is true that we should also give importance to other small stuffs which might prove to be of a highly valuable one. Concentrating and having a suitable plan to gather these items can be crucial for ones survival given in any type of harsh world.

Living in earthquake country, I can't rely on any disaster happening when i am awake. As such

my BOB resides in a parachute bag along with a full change of clothes, including hiking boots

(already broken in). As to glasses, a spare pair resides in my first-aid kit and if I required special

meds they would be in there as well.
