Mostly when the power goes off I have a lamp which lights with the power that we give by circling the lever that is with the light, I think the base idea of that light is from the cycle dynamo.

If the power goes out I have a generator to take care of most needs. For lighting we have many sources of lighting that are battery powered, gas powered, and wind up. I keep plenty of fuel on hand for the generator as well as fuel for cooking and lanterns. The battery operated lights have 6 sets of extra batteries for each, along with 2 sets of rechargeable batteries that can be charged on a solar powered charger.
