First off I'd like to apologize for the problems with this site over the past week or so. It appears that a virus worked its way into the shared GoDaddy server that this forum is hosted on. After many hours on the phone with tech support, I believe that the problem is resolved and the forum may again resume.

Please know that I am working diligently to ensure that a similar situation does to happen again. I will be updating the various programs that this forum runs off of to ensure that the site is always protected from such attacks on this end. Unfortunately I have little control over GoDaddy's efforts on the server side.

Unfortunately we missed out on timely discussions of many relevant topics:

- NYC Times Square terrorist plot
- Flooding in TN and other areas
- Financial meltdown on the stock exchange

Please feel free to discuss these issues as they certainly warrant discussion on this forum.

One other update, I have added a "Bargain Hunter" section on the site so that members can share any online or in-store sales that they would like. This is an opportunity to help out other preppers stock up and save some money at the same time. Please no self-promoting or advertising in this section as we have a dedicated area for that.

Haven't been on the site in a few months. Came back last week and got some error message. Was worried that the site had disappeared. Glad to see it back up and functioning.

I thought I had a virus. I kept getting a screen that said I needed to download Zend Optimizer before I could continue. Glad things got worked out.
