I have been doing some reading about alternate sources of food, and have found that soy beans have great nutritional value. They can be used as a substitute for meat as well as a source of fiber and other nutrients found in vegetables.
In a SHTF situation, soy beans would be an easy to find and renew resource. They are grown all over the country and the beans could be used to grow fresh sources in a long term survival situation.
I have not been able to find many recipes for soy beans that seem to be very palatable. Does anyone know of any sources of recipes or have any favorites they could share?

It's pretty simple, and the other ingredients somewhat cover the taste of the beans, or at least add some flavor to the dish in spite of the beans.
SOY BEANS AND CHEESE CASSEROLE
2 (16 oz.) cans beans (soy or kidney) 1 (1 lb.) can stewed tomatoes 2 slices fresh bread, crumbled 2 tsp. Herb-Ox onion flavored instant broth & seasoning 3/4 c. grated cheddar cheese
Drain beans. Place in a 6 cup casserole. Season tomatoes with instant broth, add bread, blend well. Pour over beans. Top with cheese. Bake in a moderate oven, 350 degrees, about 40 minutes, until casserole is bubbling hot.

Thanks PreparedMom. This is a start, but I am looking for recipes and ways to prepare them when in a survival situation. I have never eaten soy beans straight from the bag/field before, and I am just wondering if I can prepare them the same as any other beans, are there any special preparations that need to be made, and different ways I can use them.
