Salting the meat and drying it on the sunlight will keep them away from the prolonged attacks of bacteria . Salt is indeed a very good ingredient which serves as an excellent preservative.

Yep I would opt for the smoke house, It can preserve meat to a very good extend indeed, besides smoking salting is also a very good idea.
