I have lots of places I go online for reasonable deals. I wanted to share my favorite choices...these places run sales constantly, and typically don't hose you on shipping. They sell to everyone, with only a few items being restricted to law enforcement or military. Feel free to post your own resources.

• LA Police Gear - excellent deals on tactical and survival gear
• Chinook Medical Gear, Inc. - great prices for trauma supplies
• Cheaper Than Dirt - their shipping can be pricey, but still a good place to find deals
• BulkAmmo.com - great place for ammunition, shipping is very reasonable (the trick is to place multiple orders if you end up with overweight/oversize shipping charges for a single large order)
• Sharpest Store On The Web (eBay Store) - excellent prices on survival items, knives, etc. They combine shipping, so wait for their final invoice if you buy multiple items
• Optics Planet - lots of sales/closeouts/etc., good shipping prices
• Natchez Shooters Supplies - excellent prices on products and shipping

While I like to buy local as much as possible, it is sometimes very cost prohibitive. Ammunition, for example, is very expensive locally (for me), and hard to find in bulk. And most of the vendors above carry stuff I simply cannot find locally.

Their site is a bit hard to search, but they have a lot of quality items at great prices. It seems they don't always replenish their stock though.
