We had always thought of how to survive in a conventional way. What if there is a nuclear, biological and chemical attack, what can we do to survive. I don't think we stand a chance against those attacks.
Could any one think of what you guys will do if there is a nuclear, biological or chemical attack and what steps you would take to ensure your survival.

Surviving a WMD attack if you are caught unexpected would be extremely difficult although there have been some that have written extensively (and logically) on the topic.

I don't think that one can make any precautions against nuclear attacks, the only way is to move away from affected area and go miles away. These nuclear attacks might bring out genetic disorder, which is very harmful for the future generations.

I have no idea either. I like the underground idea though. Can`t do that here but other places could make an underground home. Would we even know ahead of time if there were a nuclear attack?

I would say an air tight room or building would be your best bet. Of course I really have no idea. Good question though.

I know that a good sealed underground can help us in saving ourselves from such an attack. However I don't know what to eat and what to drink in such situations as there will be radiation poisoning in the food and water we drink.

Yeah there are many places where you can hide, but the question arises when it comes to ,food. As manoj says, the radiation will have harmful effects on the food. There is no other go, traveling a great distance as Shawn says, might keep one away from radiation.

I have no idea, because the radiation has adverse effects on both ,i.e our body as well as on our forth coming generations, so it's safe to travel away from such places.

Further even if we survive such a attack by a miracle, we still have to face the potential effects of residual radiation. Residual radiation can last for more than two generations crippling our genes and rendering ourselves physically handicapped and vulnerable to cancer.
