Hello everyone, My name is Terry and I am glad to have found this site. I hope to learn a lot of new things about survival and how to be prepared for any type of emergency. I just finished reading the book The Road by Cormac McCarthy. If you are a reader I highly recommend this book to read. After reading this masterpiece i now have a renewed respect for being prepared for anything and I think if you read it you will know what I mean. As for me, I am married and have 2 girls 4yrs and 3yrs. I live in North Carolina and I am an Air Traffic Controller. I have the most awesome job in the world. It can be crazy at times but well worth the stress. Well that's it, hope to find some new friends and learn some new tricks to keep my family safe. I am also into knot tying. I enjoy tying practical and decorative knots, it can be really relaxing. Well talk to you all later.
