What's the best way to naturally repel rabbits, and squirrels? My garden last year was plagued by these little critters last year. I'd rather not use poisons, since there are EPA laws against doing that (and I don't want to get in trouble if a hawk or something dies). What's the best way to naturally and safely repel these little critters? Is there a way, or am I doomed to have a repeat of last year, this year?

Is hunting out of the question?

Bonemeal works as a natural repellant, as does sulfur. Both are good for your garden.

There is a natural organic animal repellent known as biodefend which repels squirrels and rabbits without harming them. I had tried this and it had worked well in my garden.

Looks like it is available at Wal-Mart as well, and online for about $12:

I just might buy some this spring, since hunting is not allowed in my area (I live inside of city limits).
