I heard from a friend a while ago about a business that sells mushroom spores online- anyone ever used this type of service before? Supposedly, the spores come encased in a sawdust-like log, you just soak it and leave it be. The spores grow into safe mushrooms that you can then eat. Anyone know what product I'm talking about?

How long does the "log" grow mushrooms for? It sounds like a cool idea!

Yeah, I heard of those sites. They specialize in culturing edible mushrooms, I would call it as a ready made cultivation of mushrooms. We just have to spread the spores in a moisturize condition and it will grow on its own.
