I thought the main purpose behind distilling water was the removal of minerals. It isn't something that "tends" to happen, is it?


+1- distilled water is pure water. Minerals, if anything, would be harder on your kidneys, as DianaR said above. Plus, if you're concerned about it, a multivitamin would replace those minerals.
