I was and still am for Ron Paul and the only reason that he did not win was because of those who control the press in the US.

Obama came across bigger than life not only for his presidential demure (like the one from China) but also for his character and the love that he was showing for his wife and kids.

Many are against Obama because he is black but I would take him over Bush any time of the day or night.........better the devil that you don't know than the one that you do.

Had he taken over eight years ago we would not be today in the position that we are in.

Sorry to say that as far as I am concern he is now a lame duck who will be blamed for everything, that you and I know, that is going to happen......he will be like the guy who is trying to stop the snowball going downhill that is to big for him to stop.

One day you will read what I have been saying for the past three years....... "NO EXPORT = NO RECOVERY" and everyone will blame everyone else. Even if we were to start exporting tomorrow we will never be what were were at one time because now others can can do it as we used to not only better but also cheaper.

Where we are now going downhill like in the inside of a pinball machine Obama will help us go down hill in a more orderly manner.........but downhill we will go.

If you answer "create this economic situation", you are incorrect. This current economic situation was the direct result of risky lending practices that were REQUIRED BY LAW, from legislation passed during the Clinton administration.

Hopefully, Obama will be perfect for us. However, I am not an optimist, and I do not share your optimistic views of his coming presidency. He is just the opposite of what our country needs- the "New Deal" didn't work during the Depression, and it isn't going to work now.

As stated, Hamas is a terrorist organization. Israel is cleaning house with them, and it's long overdue. But, I'm sure that Obama will gladly pal around with Hamas. What's the deal with Israel, anyways? They are a country that is trying to defend itself in a region where they aren't really that well liked. Israel is one of the few remaining countries that has a pair.

Bush did, however, support the raping of individual liberties in the United States, with support of legislation such as the Patriot Act, and the Patriot Act II. Hopefully, Obama will not further the umbrella of "Big Brother".

I can tell you one thing bush could have not done. He made it much harder on people with medicare and medicaid. I was a cab driver when he did that and I saw the tears of the people he hurt. My own mother in law has to do without some of her meds because of his stupid change. Take from the poor and give to the rich. By all means they have to have their private jets right?
