Found this interesting site today that shows you where most of the botched paramilitary-style police raids have happened:

http://www.cato.org/raidmap/

The botched one in SC at a high school in Goose Creek is messed up...click on any of the markers to view the news story.

While those are examples of some serious mishaps, I wonder how many successful raids were conducted during the time frame as well...

In my humble opinion, no paramilitary raids are justified unless they involve life or death situations. Busting down doors for drugs is a bad idea, and it's gotten people killed. If someone has enough drugs to flush before the police gain entry after knocking, then they probably aren't a high priority target.

These so called raids, called "No Knock Warrants" by LE are wrong. There have been innocent people shot and killed because they couldn't even go to the right house. IMO every time someone who is innocent gets killed by these tactics, the judge that authorized it should be prosecuted.
