He isn't nearly as testosterone driven as the other fellow. it feels more genuine, but you also have to deal with listening to him complain about carrying his crap around. if i were in his shoes i'd be mad too, but being mad on camera on nation tv is unacceptable imho. i wish someone would make a survivorman website though..one like Man vs Wild Episodes Online

Cast my vote for Survivorman.
No doubt Bear is good, but he's got an entire support team with him. It's also been said that many of his techniques are pre-planned and sometimes pre-completed (like a raft for example) before anything is put onto film. Can't say for sure.
Les is alone, doing his own camerawork. Because he's alone, he doesn't try to sensationalize anything ... just make it through. Here's a question ... after a long climb through difficult terrain (maybe low on water and food), you think Bear would do all the extra hiking back to retrieve his cameras after a shot, only to retrace his route again off camera? ... me either.
I have to agree Les whines a little, but then again he's got nobody else there to interact with ... just a thought.

I’d like to see Bear team up with Cody and Dave (Dual survival), hell through in Les too. Bear would be running around trying to get all the attention like a little brother as the others shake their heads. I’m no picking on Bear, I like him, and he does have that flamboyant personality.

I dont think he can even stand with Les Stroud much less Dave and Cody.

I am not sure about Survivorman, Mr. Rambo only watches Man vs Wild. I do like watching it when he puts it on though. I noticed some people said they didn't like it because he puts himself in unnecessary situations, I have heard him say many times that he is only doing it to show people should they get stuck in that situation. Like a desert one I saw recently where he showed what to do if you are caught in a sand storm.
