No silver, no gold and veryyyyyyyyyyyy little ammo.......but a lot of guns.
Many people but didn't see any exchange of money.
Price to go in went from $5.00 to $6.00........not worth it.
So........unless you already have silver, gold and ammo.......forget it.

Back about 5-6 years ago I bought some silver bars...Not that much...A little over 100 troy ounces...At the time I paid about $7-8 per ounce...I was tempted to sell them back about a year ago when silver hit a high of around $21 per ounce...But I never did...They're still worth more than what I paid, but I could have made a nice profit if I had sold them...

Well cm, back in 1972 I was working in security at the LA Ariport searching bags, one night this guy came by with something shinny in his case and he told me that is was raw silver.
On my break I found him and for a while we talked about silver, the told me that in about 10 years silver would go to the roof and then he gave a piece of the raw silver.
Two weeks later I received a large check for an accident that I was in and after talking to my then wife I went ahead and bought a bunch of silver at $2.40 plus 0.50 cents.........in 1980 I sold it at $43.65 and made a lot of money........I call the guy "My Silver Angel".
Started to buy silver once again in 1982-2002 when I decided that I had all that I wanted... average per oz of $5.16
Hope to some day buy my "Silver Island"...........I can dream, can I?

We just had a gun show this weekend here as well, Sports Connection was running it I think. Haven't seen a need to go to a gun show in a while though, there aren't really any deals any more.

With the Internet, about all that I go to gun shows for is just for the guns themselves. However, even then the prices are about market value (maybe more). Last one I went to I got a SKS for $100 about 3 years ago.

Main reason that I go to the gun shows is to get some weapons from those walking around trying to sell them, this time there were very few of them.......I did see a guy with a AR-15 that was coming in while I was going out but he came in with the weapon only to buy some spare parts.

AR stuff nowadays is crazy with the prices! Hopefully he got a decent deal.

You guys just have bad luck with the fun shows. I always seem able to haggle someone down from their list price to get a good deal. That's the thing though- it's all about haggling.

Well tax man, I don't mind paying extra for a weapon that is not register and all that I have is outside my property waiting for the right time to bring them out.

There's merit to that as well, but you can always say that you sold a weapon at a gunshow that you purchased at a gunshop.
