Hi,
I just joined today. I've been meaning to find a good emergency preparedness forum for some time now. It's a subject I'm fascinated with, and I try my best to be prepared for all types of emergencies. I try to eek out most of our vegetable and fruit supply from a meager .13 of an acre of land, most of which is a house with a large deck, and very little ground to grow anything (hence my username--no 40 acres here!). I hope to learn a lot from others here, and be able to help you, as well.
