How many hunters are there here? There are no hunters in my family, but my husband is a deer processer. He tells me all the stories about what they make from the deer meat. This year they also had 3 bears. Have you ever had Bear meat?

None of my family have hunters. I guess that legacy is long gone in my family. I never had bear meat before but while I am in Moscow I had a chance for eating it however I refused it though.

Hunting is pretty fun if you have the right gear and aren't afraid of killing and getting bloodied up.

Bear hunting is really dangerous, and if you are hunting one, please be careful, those guys are really mean if they know you are going to kill them. My friend went bear hunting a while back with his uncle, he had a crossbow, used all his arrows on a single bear, and still didn't bring him down. His unlce had a desert eagle and went a ahead an unloaded on the bear though.

Hunting is always a good skill to possess, just make sure you go at the right time of the season for the game you are going after.

Fishing is fun also, I might have to start a thread on fishing since I don't believe one exists here.

You could hunt with a spear in the river, hunt a big baracuda. That is hunting, but in the water.

What kind of gear do you use in hunting? Anyone feel free to let me know how they do it.
