Does anyone have a good resource that shows how to tie different types of knots? That'd be quite helpful to me.

If you can find a copy of the US Army Combat Engineer manual, they show how to tie all of the knots needed for just about any situation.

The boyscout manual has most knots in it and you can usually pick up an older version for
pennies at a used book store.
For most uses, the overhand knot will suffice1
