How cold does it have to be before you start to become miserable? People vary widely with this, I have found. My father in law is perfectly happy wearing nothing but shorts and a t-shirt in 30 degree weather.

Without a jacket, 40 degrees is really cold to me, and with a jacket, 20 degrees is about when I want to come inside where it's warm.

How about everyone else?

30 degrees without a jacket, negatives with one. Here in MT, people tend to be heartier towards the cold.

I don't go outside if it's less than 20.

I can tolerate up to 30 degrees beyond that I would dress like a Siberian. I think body genes have to play a part in determining who can withstand high cold and who won't.

Well, that depends on the humidity. Out west, 20 degrees is cold, whereas out east, 40 degrees is cold. If there isn't much humidity, there isn't a problem usually.

40 degrees is cold! At 30 degrees, I'm calling it a day. I'm from CA, and I don't like the cold one bit.

Seems like for most people, 40 degrees is the cut off. I'd say that's about it for me, too.

Are you asking a Cuban that question? are you talking to me??????????

Well, I was at Ft. Richarson in Alaska and went TDY to Fr. Greely to test some winter equipment and it came down to 60 BELOWWWWWWWWWWW 0 ......... I now never go out
unless is 75 or above.

I like to say that "If hell is cold I then want to go to hell"

First of all, thank you for your service.

The coldest I've ever seen was in Havre, MT: 40 below. That was so cold that it hurt me in places I didn't know I had!
