I just found this forum and read a few threads. You seem like a pretty civil group who are into preparedness and not a lot of doom and gloom. I hope my first impression is right. Anyway, I hope to learn from you and perhaps contribute something useful as well.

Welcome! I do like to think that we are more practical than the "World is going to end in 2012/I'm afraid the zombies are coming" type of "survivalists". I think this site and the people here are more practical than that and our discussions tend to be more level headed. Again, welcome to the forum and look forward to your input.

Thank you for the welcomes. I'm still trying to learn my way around the boards. I cannot find a way to log out other than deleting cookies????
