I found this forum a couple months ago, stop in now and then, and finally decided to register. My DW and I live on 10 acres in Pa. We have 4 horses, 3 donkeys, 1 mule, (anyone looking for a stubborn mule) 11 goats, 40 chickens, (give or take) 7 dogs, and 6 barn cats. In 2007 we expanded our small garden of a few tomato, pepper, lettuce, cucumber, and broccoli plants, to a 2500 sq ft plot and added peas, beans, beets, cauliflower, potatoes, zucchini, cantaloupe and watermelon. There is a separate 3600 sq ft plot for sweet corn, and 1800 sq ft of hard red wheat as well as a strawberry patch and about a dozen blackberry bushes. While this may seem like a lot to some folks, and that we are well prepared, it only takes 1 bad growing season to throw all those well laid out plans to get thrown to the wind. The way I see it is that if you think you know everything and have everything all laid out nice and neat, something is going to come along and knock you down. So I'm here to share what We've learned and learn what we haven't. Joe

Thanks. I have it in color on all my emails but couldn't find a way to do it here.

When you reply to a thread...
There is a section to the right of the typing box that shows different colors...
Find the color you want and it shows the color code as part of the formatting in the reply text box
If you copy that code you should be able to make your signature in colors
I might have to try this on my own sig to make sure it works but i think it should.

Thanks, but it isn't really important. I was just making an observation.

Welcome Joe.
Please share what you know. You seem to have some very valuable knowledge that all of us could use.

Just ask. If I know, I share. If I don't know, I ask. I've done a lot of asking in the last few years so I'm more than happy to "pay it forward" if I'm able.
