We all know nobody wants to smell funky even in a bug out situation. I have been using for years a product called a "Crystal Deodorant Stone". As a physically active adult I find this product very useful and it lasts about 8 months of application once or twice a day (for a $6 stone). It takes just a little bit of moisture on the stone to smoothly glide it across the skin. It won't melt, smell, or feel sticky or wet. It's great.

Wow, I have never heard of that. I would love to get some. Where would they have it? We do have a local store that sells all kinds of camping gear and other sports things. You think they would have it? Can you use it on your under arms too?

After seeing this post, I ran across this one

Image

I've been using it for about a week and it actually works wonderfully well.

The entire thing weights about 1.75 oz. which makes it a good addition to my "personal care" bag in my bug out bag. So I'm going to add this to that and buy myself a larger one for home.

Does anyone have experience with other brands? Are there differences?

I actually use a roll-on version from the same brand that is pictured. Though the stick would be ideal for bug out purposes. Great shelf life too. I highly recommend it.

I've heard baking soda will work as a deodorant, too. Another multi-use item. :)
