Agreed. Pretty sure I don't want to be living in a dorm setting after a SHTF scenario. With rising tensions, some bad stuff is bound to happen in those close quarters. Interesting concept though.

What I found very ironic, is that a newscaster, on a news channel that participates in the fear-mongering sensationalism that most news channels are guilty of, is advocating that this is a waste of people's money, and that shelters like this are completely unnecessary and will never be needed. You have to love the way "news" is presented. On one hand the tales of imminent doom and societal collapse and nuclear war are upon us, but if you prepare for any of those things, you're suffering from illogical fears and you shouldn't worry so much. Gotta love the way news is only presented in a way to sell advertising and newspapers.
