Hello from Georgia, anybody else from Georgia? I am a retired military veteran. Always have been interested in survival preparedness. I am hoping to learn more.

A bit late, but welcome. How are your preps coming these days?

Sorry it has taken so long to post just been extremely busy. I have been trying to get all my ducks in a row. Getting ammo and stocking shelves along with updating my BOB and LBE. If there is anybody else here in Ga please hit me up.

Welcome Georgia

I sure wish i could find some ammo, I am getting a little miffed at the fact that our sports stores out here in COLO havent had any on the shelves for at least 10 months i cant believe it. Of course with the current administration its not so unbelievable.

In Ohio it has been weird. The big stores like Bass Pro, Cabellas and the bigger locally owned hunting/gun stores have plenty of ammo on hand. It is over priced though. Wal mart does get some in, but you have to be there right away to get any, unless you want shotgun shells.

I was lucky enough to start reloading before the election. When I saw what may happen I stocked up on supplies and have been OK with all of my centerfire ammo. I think I will be OK now since primers are now getting back in stock.

Now if I can just get my bulk packs of 22LR. I shoot a lot of it, and my stocks are way below what I set my prep levels at.

I was at Wal-Mart on Sunday and found the bricks of .22. Only problem was, Remington shrunk the box from 550 to 350. The price is still $11.97 for 200 fewer shells. :o

Our Wal mart never carried those. The bulk packs I have been buying are Federal. If they get some of these in I will try them. Wal-Mart does carry Winchester Super X, but I recommend that you stay away from them. The quality is very poor.

I agree with the Winchester brand as being less than stellar in performance. I have had great luck with Federal premium but it is priced premium.

I am constantly checking the Wal-marts out here and they do have the .22 but very little handgun ammo. Plenty of S&W 40 but no JHP just target rounds. There are no Cabelas or Bass pro shops in this area i guess i'll have to take a road trip to Denver and see what i can find. Thanks for the input fellow preparers.

Uncle Dave what do you keep your prep level at with .22 ammo. Do you plan to use this ammo for small game if the need arises? You're not thinking self defense with this ammo are you? Just wondering my .22 is fairly low also and now you have me thinking.
