GPS. It's always either on my desk, or out of batteries in my truck. Maybe I need a GPS to find my GPS?

Pack 100 rounds in your survival bag. You will never forget it. You have reminded me of this. I have never packed any toilet paper in my BOB. That could be nearly fatal.

Murphy's law: You will have .22 ammo packed, and have a .45 pistol, or .223 rifle!

Toilet paper can always be improvised. Leaves, grass, you name it. Once, I forgot toilet paper, and used the insulation material on an old coat! For what it's worth, my wife said that it was pretty soft...

My BOB has 100 rounds for each of my carry guns, along with 100 22LR. If I grab the 223 rifle, I can get by with grabbing the case. It has 50 rounds in it. Hopefully in a real situation I will have time to grab all of my ammo. I keep 1,000's of rounds ready to go at all times.

That sounds like a good idea- I have 100 rounds spare in each caliber, why not store it in the BOB or in my truck? Good idea!

TINDER,

A ziploc of dryer lint can make ALL the difference. I always have a fire starter with me, but that big spark doesn't do you any good without some tinder to catch quick.
