How long before the calls for an assault weapons ban?

It always seems like these events build up before a ban. Just look at what happened in the early 90s before the first Assault Weapons Ban of 1994.

The only problem is weapons bans do not work. Google this for England and especially Austrailia. Violent crime rates have sky rocketed since their ban went into affect. This is because the law abiding follow the law. The criminals do not care and keep their guns.

Another problem with an AWB, is the liberals don't just want Assault Weapons, they want every semi-auto sporting rifle and handgun.

I would even go as far as to say every gun. The funny thing is that some of the most rabid anti-gun politicians all have guns. They just don't think that you or I deserve them!

You are correct there also. I wish I still had the link, but even Nancy Pelosi has a gun for self defense, and she is one of the most rabid gun haters around. She thinks it is OK for her, but not for anyone else.

I belong to an organization in Ohio called Ohioans for Concealed Carry. It's a grass roots organization that fights for 2nd amendment rights. I believe we have done a lot of good in the last few years. If you are interested in becoming involved, let me know where you are from and I'll help you find a similar organization in your area.

Didn't Nancy get busted for concealed carry without a permit, or some other gun law?

She didn't get busted, but she was caught with one. The so called elite never get busted when they break the law, even if they were one of them that wrote it. I think it is really hypocritical when someone like her wants to take everyone's right to self defense away, but she don't have to follow the laws herself.
