You can even add the blood pressure check apparatus in the last, it can be helpful to the elderly people , who are aged above 40.

I would recommend you to add some, snake bite antidotes as well. They are a must , when you are on a wilderness trip. They must be kept handy.

its been said but you can buy surgical blades on there own, mine came in a pack of 5 and there sterile. handy for FAK's and a lot of other stuff.

Im also looking at some Nexcare products to add to my FAK

To consider:
At least 2 glow sticks, benadrehl, asprin for cardiac response,hard candy for Diabetic emergency, solar blanket for shock, latex tube for extreme bleeding if necessary. These items will not add much weight or space for benefit.
