I've recently obtained the Eton Scorpion for my survival kit.



It's a combination LED flashlight/radio, and is powered by either a hand crank or a large solar cell. The radio channels it supports are AM/FM and NOAA weather band. It also has a USB Cell Phone charger. There's also a bottle opener on it, which I would consider a very minor addition. It's about the shape and size of a brick.

The only negative is that it is not fully waterproof, but water-resistant, meaning is can be splashed on, but not totally immersed in water.
