I have the Honda EU2000ia Companion. It's very quiet and fuel efficient. It's much less then the OP is looking for, but it is much more sustainable to keep fed than a 10kw monster. If I had to do it over, I'd get the 3000 -- the manual start cord is a pain in the rear and the 3000 has an electric start.
