Have the DVR set to record it. I'll be watching it soon but probably not tonight.

Not sure what everyone else thinks, but the 2nd season is much better than the first. The colonists this season seem less like actors, and more like average people. I think the scenarios are more realistic too.

I totally agree. This season has been more "violent" and to me that is a much more accurate portrayal of how things would actually be.

I've been DVR'ing the show all season and I had a chance to watch a few episodes tonight. I gotta say that some of the situations seem so unrealistic. For instance one episode, they are running very low on food (enough for a another few days) and then one of the participants find a a good amount of sugar and yeast and instead of using it for sustinance, they decide to make fuel to run an airplane engine.

I'm still amazed at some of the engineering jobs they complete (like the windmill for wind power) but other parts of the show just seem silly. Alot more violence from outsiders this season which is probably more realistic.

The finale is supposed to be tonight, and I have one word for what I've seen in the previews: Disgusted.

When is revenge ever the best option? The most survivable option? The option most conducive to not losing YET MORE members of your group? Hmmm.

What a shame about Amber and Michael. I was also disgusted with Becka's reaction. I mean, I understand the need to be cold when dealing with scary stuff in order to "survive" emotionally. But that's the sort of thing you keep in when other people around you are obviously very upset. "Oh well, they didn't really fit in anyhow." Amber and Michael had a lot more to offer the group in terms of skill than Becka. I say they fit better than she did! Even in spite of her super awesomeness with the pig carcasses!
