Guy from TN here: need to know good tasty and very high calory dehydrated food source. Have used Perma Pack long time ago - it was nice. What is recommended, lowest cost, source. I have MRE but need lighter weight. Thanks

Welcome mindride. I am glad to see you here.
I moved this to a more appropriate forum so you would get more answers about this. Myself, I sacrifice a little weight for non dehydrated foods. I like the taste of more traditional canned goods. I am sure there is someone here who can help you.
