Has anyone watched this series? It was aired on the BBC and looks as though there are at least two seasons of episodes out so far. The basic premise is that an aggressive "European Flu" kills 99% of the population and the few survivors eventually meet up and try to restart civilization. I found the series on Netflix and have been watching the episodes instantly streamed to my tv. So far it has held my attention and I'd suggest watching a few episodes. Unfortunately I just found out that the show was canceled in England after two seasons. I;m not sure if the end of season two ends on a cliff hanger or not.

Sounds interesting. Would you recommend it?

I did find it's available as a DVD set on Amazon, and includes all 12 episodes from both seasons. 21 of the 26 people who reviewed it gave it 4 stars or better (out of 5 stars).

Some more info. The BBC version of Survivors in 2010, was a remake. The original series, also called Survivors, was done in 1975-1977.
