Well, if you watched the headlines today you saw where our new Attorney General wants to reinstate the assault weapons ban because it "contributes" to the violence and drug/human trafficing in Mexico. Add to that the rumor of the government taxing us to death for guns and ammo and it sends shivers up my spine.
See you all in jail.

By now you all should have all the weapons and ammo that you would need for a longggggg time.......any weapon that's not registered be sure to keep them away from your home together with the ammo.
Keep in the house only such weapon that's registered and when they ask for your weapon then ask which one are they talking about because maybe they don't have an accurate record of all the weapons that you are supposed to have.
From now on any firearm, registered or not, that you buy be sure to keep them AWAY from those weapons that by now you should have put away, the reason for this is the new mini GPS that can be placed in very small places (the but of the weapon?) and if you place the new weapon with the ald ones they can traced it and will fin ALL WEAPONS.
If you buy new ammo be sure to use first the new ammo for practice and keep the old one for the real thing......new ammo will be registered.......or will be.

The day Holder talked about it Pelosi said she wouldn't support it. I guess she remembers what happened the last time the Dems got the AWB through.
Ponce, you never have enough guns. I have many, but still upgrade as my finances allow. I also keep good stocks of ammo and reloading supplies. You also should be sure to train to become proficient and remain that way with each and every firearm you have.

What I have is what I have and is all that I need........I do have a little bit "extra" of ammo. People are saving ammo like if they are going to have a pissing contests with bullets, either you get him or them in the first five minutes or you will have problems........if you get him (or them) you then take their weapons and ammo and if they get you first then they will have what you have. The only "extra" weapon that I would like to have is a M-79 with about 25 shells. Part of my pland is to booby trap places where they can hide to shoot at my property

They don't always work, but do make good warning devices. I don't need a ton of ammo to defend myself in an encounter. I do know tactics, I was an Army Ranger, I have seen combat, I know what I need to do. The reason I keep a large supply of ammo is, if an emergency becomes long term. I will need to be able to hunt to supplement my food. Also as a situation plays out long term, you may have even more people to keep out of your stocks and away from you and your family. I am prepping keeping this in mind. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best. Here is an update: Wednesday, March 18, 2009
Today in a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder, 65 Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives, led by Congressman Mike Ross (D-AR), expressed their opposition to the reinstatement of the failed 1994 ban on semi-automatic firearms and ammunition magazines. These congressmen cited numerous studies that proved the 1994 ban was ineffective, and they strongly urged Attorney General Holder to stop his effort and instead focus on the enforcement of existing gun laws.
NRA would like to thank Congressman Ross for his leadership on this effort. We will continue to work with Members of Congress from both parties on this important issue.

Having guns, and knowing how, and when to use them is what's going to count. When the SHTF, most people (SHEEPLE) are going to tow the line, and do as their told by the authorities. Owning firearms does not make one RAMBO or JASON BORNE. Having the proper " frame of mind" when the SHTF is what will save you and yours. I would like to further state that I hope the "ball" never drops. But we all know that it will.
