Just wondering if any of our members are in the path of Earl and if so, what they have done to prepare.

No problem here. We're 150 miles inland and 600' above sea level. We haven't had a direct hurricane impact since Agnus in 1972. But that was quite an experience; 15" of rain in about 30 hours.

We're located between Boston and Cape Cod so we are bracing a little bit. Basically just taking in anything outside in the yard that might blow away. This shouldn't be too bad for us here.

I'm mid state Mass. Should be fine here. We got the ice storm a few years ago, no power for 3 weeks at home.
