Here in South Carolina they are having a tax free holiday right after Thanksgiving for gun and amo purchases. Many people are saying they will be buying more than last year around the same time.

The number of people buying gun and ammo had increased nearly two fold this year when compared with last year. This abrupt change in purchase is because there were rumors that the new president will go strict gun license laws.

I was going to say that as well. With Obama as the next President and the house and Senate going mostly Democrat- people are afraid of new laws that might be passed.

I know Sarah Palin was very into guns and NRA positive. Could be why stores are having deals. Sell it now while they can.

Well I will be lined up to buy. I want me a small gun though that meets my needs. You know something that you could hunt for food with as well as carry.

hmmm yeah!! Gun sales at some local stores have increased since the presidential election, but it's hard to say if the upswing is due to deer or Democrats.

That sure sounds like a great idea. Unfortunately I have never heard of a tax free holiday in my home country.
